Websites
I have been working on computers over forty years and have had a computer business since 1996.
Starting this website or any website is always a labor of love. It provides important information to people interested in services or topics.
My prices are reasonable and I stand behind my work. Many of the websites I created over the years are gone due to the companies no longer being in business.
Dreamweaver was the tool I had used to create them but now I have moved to a different venue. Actually when I first started learning I created my first site in Netscape.
When I completed the first one, I literally jumped for joy.
If you want a site or blog built please think about the following:
What Color Scheme?
How many Pages do I want?
Do I have Web ready content?
Do I have to pay to get my content ready for the web? (this could be costly)
Recently I had a client who didn't realize the amount of work she needed to do in order to add content. The site is up and running but sites need to change to keep people coming back. Updating is an important part of creating a website or blog.
The more people that come to your site, the higher the ranking in search engines. If you can get your site mentioned in a local paper, that can really increase traffic. People are not going to find your site unless you promote it and also consider advertising.
Most of the major search engines have services available. It can get pricey
with out great results. A client created a real estate site and paid for
Google Advertising it was $200 a month and I think after six months they only got one or two clients. They were not out there promoting their site. So please ask yourself "am I ready to make that kind of a commitment?"
Some of the sites I created still up on the web.
